Running field trials as a pro his first year in 2004, Henninger started with many young dogs.Putting 41 Derby points on four dogs and getting two dogs All Age Qualified, he has started out with great success.
While we specialize in field trial training, we also want to help you train for a hunt test, or with your gun dog. Whether field trial or gun dog, all the basics in these programs start the same . So whatever your current level of training, we want to help you reach your goals for your dog.
Our goal is to keep our dog's attitudes right, and teach them step by step, so that they understand all the mechanics of the field.
 We like our dogs to run hard, try hard, and not be afraid to make mistakes. That comes when things are in clear pictures for the dogs. They should always know what is expected of them.
We don't train through failure and pressure, but with repetition, success, and attrition.
The hunt test is a great place for you if you just want to do a little with your dog. It's a great sport for the family, and a place for your kids to be able to start running your dog, if they have any interest. There are Junior, Senior, and Master Hunt Tests that you can enter your dogs into.
Our new facility is 46 acres with 20 acres of ponds built for dog training. Rex Carr actually helped design these ponds. They are superb for training young dogs.
